On a visit to his family’s village in China, nine-year-old Kody learns that he’s next in line to become the defender of the village. Kody works with his grandfather Master Li, his detective cousin Mei, and the timid tiger Goji to ensure the protection of his home. Kody’s arch nemesis, Mogo Monkey No Go and his monkey minions, cause plenty of chaos and terrorize the village every chance they get. Luckily, Kody has a super-secret weapon named the Sapphire Dragon, which allows him to Kapow-er up!
