BRINGING WARMTH UP NORTH

Based on a children’s book published in 2015 by the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, The Great Northern Candy Drop tells the true story of Inuk bush pilot Johnny May. Every holiday season for over 50 years, Johnny has flown over Kuujjuaq in the Nunavik region of Northern Quebec to drop candy, toys, and warm clothing to children and residents of the community.

We worked collaboratively on this project with Amberwood Entertainment and were thrilled to meet Johnny and Louisa May to share our fantastical take on their amazing true story.
